My opponent filed her finance report with the Texas Ethics Commission and I am proud to let you know we have outraised her. We have triumphed on all three measurements of fundraising success: number of donations, total amount raised and amount still in the bank. In every contest of strength between my campaign and Keller’s, we have won.
- In March, Keller, afraid of competition and the truth, tried to kick me off the ballot. In 24 hours we received over 150 signatures from 4 appellate districts.
- In May, lawyers and judges across Texas voted in the State Bar Judicial Preference Poll, choosing me best qualified over Keller 52 percent to 38 percent.
- On July 16, I will report over $30,000 raised, outraising Keller 60 to 1.
We can no longer let skepticism stand in the way of an opportunity to take back a statewide elected office. It is time to believe in the possible.
